Learn traditional silversmithing a relaxed and friendly environment at your own pace. Classes are limited to a maximum of 8 to ensure everyone gets the support they need.

Unlimited cups of tea and biscuits will be available throughout the session.

Learn the fundamental skills of traditional silversmithing in this in-depth, 6 week course. Each week you will learn the skills needed to design and fabricate your own jewellery. Techniques will include sawing, forming, drilling, soldering, and finishing.

Once you have completed this course, you will be eligible to rent a bench to work independently, as well as attending more advanced classes.

6 week Intermediate Silversmithing

This course is perfect for anyone who has learned the basics in silversmithing and is looking to take their new found skills to the next level. As well as building on the basic techniques of sawing, forming, drilling, soldering, and finishing, this course will introduce you to the practises of fold forming, delft casting and press forming.

Basic silversmithing experience required. If you have attended more than one of my half day workshops you are eligible to attend this course.

SILVER STACK RINGS

Learn basic silversmith and jewellery making techniques including hammering, texturing, shaping, soldering and finishing. Choose between making 2 silver stack rings or one more substantial ring. Copper for the creation of 2 rings and silver for 2 stack rings / one wider band ring are included. Additional silver is available for purchase on the day if required.

SILVER JEWELLERY TASTER

Make a pair of silver earrings or a necklace while learning traditional silversmith techniques. Copper is included in the price, as is a set amount of silver. Additional silver is available for purchase for larger pieces.

BANGLE WORKSHOP

Learn basic silversmith skills and jewellery making techniques including hammering, texturing, shaping, soldering and finishing. Copper for the creation of one bangle and silver for one bangle are included in the price. Additional silver is available for purchase on the day if required.

BRASS CUFF WORKSHOP

Make a brass cuff bracelet while learning traditional silversmith techniques. Copper is included in the price, as is a set amount of brass. Additional silver is available for purchase for larger pieces.

HOOPS WORKSHOP

Make a pair of 925 silver hoop earrings. Copper is included in the price, as is a set amount of silver. Additional silver is available for purchase for larger pieces.
